 Flights across the country have been cancelled because of Hurricane Sandy. LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - About 10,000 flights have been cancelled nationwide so far, with at least 130 originating at LAX. Additional cancellations are expected as the storm develops, then blows itself out over the northeastern states.
Flight cancellations have occurred all across the country, with airports such as JFK international being closed altogether.
