Nine big rigs and a dump truck have more in common this morning when a pile-up accident snarled traffic just north of LA around 2:20 a.m. according to the California Highway Patrol.
LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Police say the driver of the dump truck lost control and caused a collision that included no less than four big rigs.
The accident occurred on the I-5 southbound, a major artery linking Los Angeles to the rest of the state.
As traffic backed up, another five big rigs piled up behind.
The driver of the dump truck was taken to the hospital with major injuries, but is said to be in stable condition. Miraculously, not one of the other drivers was injured.
The accident has since been cleared and traffic is now flowing normally through the area.
