Catholic Online (www.catholic.org) ![]() Space Shuttle Endeavour will wait another day to fly. ORLANDO, FL (Catholic Online) - The final flight of the space shuttle Endeavour has been postponed again due to weather. Liftoff has now been pushed back until Wednesday morning.
Atop a modified Boeing 747, the Endeavour was set to make a three-day flight Monday morning to California. Inclement weather saw those plans scratched. NASA officials decided Tuesday morning\'s forecast was not favorable either. The flight is now tentatively set for 7 a.m. Wednesday. NASA now must determine a new flight plan. Initially, the Endeavour was to arrive in Los Angeles by way of Houston, New Mexico and Edwards Air Force Base in California. It is supposed to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday. That is now subject to change.
