The man who made the film, "Innocence of Muslims" which has ignited a firestorm of protests and murder around the world, is reportedly in hiding. Nakoula Basseley Nakoula was questioned by police in Cerritos on Monday and released.
LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Nakoula is fearful for his life after his film, which depicts the Islamic Prophet Mohammed as immoral and evil, has sparked violent protests with many calling for Nakoula's death.
Already, four Americans including the US Ambassador to Libya have died as a result.
Critics say the film is crudely made and the actors claim they were tricked into performing, not
realizing the film would be anti-Islamic.
Nakoula was questioned by officers on Monday because he may have used a computer to access the internet and post the video. Nakoula is on probation for bank fraud and is forbidden from accessing the internet.
