LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - It is unclear how much cash was thrown away, but $1,501 has been recovered. A sheriff's deputy found $1,001 and members of the public have returned another $500.
It is believed the robbers threw the cash out the window to prevent pursuit as people dashed into the street to pick it up. Police later apprehended three of the four suspected bank robbers, all men in their 20's. They are asking for the public to please return the rest of the money. © 2012, Distributed by NEWS CONSORTIUM. - - - Pope Benedict XVI's Prayer Intentions for January 2013 General Intention: The Faith of Christians.
